Meet Sharmin
Hi, I’m Sharmin. Travel has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. From childhood road trips with my family to studying abroad, cruising, and exploring destinations around the world each experience has taught me more than the last.
As the daughter of Jamaican immigrant Dad and an African American school teacher Mom, I grew up understanding that the world was much bigger than my hometown. Some of my earliest travel memories are family road trips packed into the car heading to Disney World. At the time, I had no idea that this magical place was only about an hour from home—it felt like an entirely different world.
We certainly were not wealthy, but my parents worked hard and had one rule: No matter how tough times are or how much you have to stretch, once a year you pack up your family and you go somewhere, anywhere. Vacations weren't luxuries—they were necessities: a chance to rest, refuel, reset, learn, and love on one another.
As I got older, my passion for travel grew with me. From family road trips across the states, to studying abroad in Europe, traveling with no plans (and very little money!), staying in hostels, to resorts and cruising the Caribbean, to enjoying thoughtfully curated luxury experiences. And I’m just getting started. Antarctica, anyone?
Those experiences taught me something important: there is no "right" way to travel. The best trip isn't necessarily the most expensive or the most extravagant—it's the one that fits you.

I lost my Daddy Christmas Day 2023. As a “Daddy’s Girl” my biggest regret is never having the opportunity to visit his homeland, Jamaica, with him. After that I vowed I would never wait to travel again—and I would help others get wherever they want to go on their own terms. Of course, that first trip was a return to Jamaica but with a new feeling of coming home. From that trip and that promise, SharminSeas was born.
Today, I combine a lifetime love of exploration with the attention to detail and client-focused approach I've developed throughout my professional career. My career as an attorney taught me the value of preparation, attention to detail, and guiding people through important decisions. Those same skills now help me create seamless travel experiences. Whether we're discussing itineraries, travel insurance, visas, or destination options, I'll make sure you understand your choices and feel confident every step of the way.
Because travel isn't about checking destinations off a list. It's about creating memories, discovering new perspectives, and experiencing the world in a way that's uniquely yours.
Your Journey. Your Way.
